How to customise your White Fangs Mould

1
Boil water in a kettle and pour 300ml into a large cup or bowl. LEAVE to cool for a full FIVE minutes until the water reaches 70 degrees centigrade, which is 160 degrees fahrenheit. Be careful as boiling water can scald.Warning: If the water is too hot, your mouthpiece will warp and become useless.
2
Secure the white tray inside the coloured and whilst still holding the handle, submerge the combined trays into the water (make sure the whole mouthpiece is submerged up to the handle), as Fig (A). Shake the air bubbles that may be present.
3
Slowly wave the trays in the water until the handle becomes flexible. You will notice a slight loss of shape as they collapse as Fig (B).
4
Remove the trays from the water after about a minute and test for flexibility. The material should be soft enough to mould against your teeth. Use a finger to check. If not, re-submerge the trays in the water until flexible enough.
5
Holding by the handle, insert the trays into your mouth making sure that your teeth are midway between the walls of the white tray as Fig (C). Start to mould by pressing against your teeth, then separate the blue tray and discard, using your fingers, form the white tray by pressing firmly against your front teeth first and then up towards your gums as Fig (D). Remove your fingers and try to 'suck the water out of the tray' while it is still in your mouth. This will make it conform to your teeth better. As the tray cools it will tighten over your teeth. At this stage you should bite lightly on the tray and loosen it off without completely removing it.
6
Once the tray has cooled in your mouth, which takes about 3 minutes, remove the tray. This White contoured tray is your immediate fitted tray that will be used for whitening as Fig (E).
7
If the mouthpiece extends too far over your gums it can be uncomfortable. You can snip off any excess material with sharp scissors. Smooth over any sharp edges by re-heating in warm water and apply finger pressure. Remember that your mouthpiece needs only to cover your front eight or so teeth as these tend to be the only ones that need whitening. Snipping off the back section of the mouthpiece may make it more comfortable to wear.
8
Rinse mouthpieces with COLD WATER.
9
Repeat process for lower teeth.

Important Safety Information

Although most people are suitable for teeth whitening, you are advised to visit your dentist prior to proceeding.

Some people may experience a temporary tooth sensitivity when they begin to use the gel. This discomfort is common and can be treated by placing a small amount of de-sensitising toothpaste, such as Sensodyne, into your mouthpiece and wearing it for about 30 minutes or so. All sensitivity should cease as soon as the whitening process stops. Generally sensitive teeth should be treated with the whitening system every other night.

Over a decade of clinical research in the USA indicates that teeth whitening is completely safe, however, White Fangs recommends that pregnant women, nursing mothers and anyone taking any form of medication, consult their GP prior to whitening their teeth. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In the event that you encounter any problems with the White Fangs System you can call  02392 482 949.
