Tooth
whitening is the term used for lightening the colour of your teeth.
By using our Tooth Whitening gels that contain 10% Carbamide
Peroxide, which is dispensed into your custom fitted tray and is
worn over your teeth, the gel releases oxygen which penatrates the
tooth enamel to lift the stains without harming your teeth. |

We
can offer products that are identical to that which some Dental
Surgeries use and they could charge you between £250 and £500 for
the same products. However with White Fangs it only costs £75 for a
home made kit and £85 for a lab made kit. |

You
can expect to start to notice a difference in most people after only
2-3 applications, however, the desired level of whitening is usually
achieved within 7-10 applications. How long it lasts depends on many
factors such as how much you smoke, drink black tea/coffee etc...
Your new whiter smile should last for several years. |

No,
tooth whitening gel does not have harmful effects on teeth. |

Tooth
whitening will only lighten healthy tooth enamel and dentine.
Artificial substances such as veneers, fillings, crowns and bridges
will not be affected by the whitening process other than the removal
of surface stains caused by tea, coffee etc. However they will not
lighten more than their original colour. |

The
systems that you can buy over the counter do not have custom fitted
trays which leave gaps between your teeth and the trays. Thus allows
gel to escape into your mouth. |

Yes.
Temporary sensitivity is quite common. As your teeth become
accustomed to the gel you will notice less sensitivity. However, you
can treat sensitivity by placing a small amount of desensitising toothpaste, such as Sensodyne, into your mouthpiece and wearing it
for around 15 minutes prior to whitening. All sensitivity should
cease when you are not whitening your teeth. |

Stain
removal may occur on artificial dental products such as crowns and
veneers but they will not whiten any more than their original colour.
As the other teeth lighten gradually you can choose to cease
whitening or you can continue whitening and have your crown replaced
to match your new whiter smile. |

There
have been reports of discomfort in the gums, a sore throat or even
white patches on the gum line but these are all very rare. These
symptoms are temporary and should disappear within a few days of
ceasing whitening. If symptoms do persist - consult your dentist.
However, there are no reported long term side effects. |
